Dr. Michael Hans, OD

Dr. Michael Hans has been in practice since 2003. He is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry to practice all aspects of optometric eyecare. Dr. Hans is a 2003 graduate of The New England College of Optometry. He received his bachelors degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1999. Dr. Hans strives to provide the absolute best possible care to all his patients. He is currently accepting new patients ages 5 and older. 

Annual eye exams are as essential as an annual physical exam. A routine eye exam can lead to the detection of a myriad of systemic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, multiple sclerosis, thyroid disease, and certain autoimmune diseases amongst many others. 

Having one's visual needs addressed via proper eyewear is paramount. As our visual world becomes more and more dynamic and demanding, there is increasing  strain upon our visual system. Headache and eye muscle spasm headline a multitude of problems that can develop using an out of date prescription and inadequate eyewear.
